76ers enter the 2017-18 NBA playoffs as a hot team
Sixers have won 16 consecutive regular season games, a new team record.

Philadelphia's 76ers enter the Eastern Conference postseason playoffs this Saturday against the Miami Heat (44-38). The Sixers (52-30) are the hottest team in the NBA right now with 16 straight regular season wins and they enter the playoffs as the third seed from the East.
The Sixers broke the team record for consecutive regular-season wins on Tuesday with a 121-113 win at Atlanta. The previous record was 14 wins in a row by the 1982-83 team led by Julius Erving and Moses Malone. As if 15 consecutive wins wasn't enough, they added to the record by recording their 16th straight win Wednesday at home against Milwaukee with a 130-95 romp.
Philadelphia's NBA hoops team is led in scoring this season by Joel Embiid who averages 22.9 points a game and 11 rebounds a contest. He averaged 20.2 points a game and 7.8 rebounds a game last season.
