93-Year-Old Man Kills Wife, Then Himself: Montco DA
The elderly man dialed 911 and then killed himself while on the line with operators, according to police.
LANSDALE, PA — A 93-year-old Lansdale man killed his wife, called 911, and then killed himself while on the line with operators earlier this week, police announced.
The incident occurred on Sept. 12 at around 12:11 p.m. at the couple's home on Concord Place in Lansdale.
Stanley Brown, 93, shot his wife, 94-year-old Florence Brown, several times, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office found. She was taken to Grand View Hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later, at 1:13 p.m.

Stanley Brown was airlifted to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia where he underwent surgery and died at 11:11 p.m.
Police found that Florence Brown suffered from dementia and that Stanley Brown was her caregiver.
