NORRISTOWN, PA — A upcoming event will bring together the top high school basketball talent from around Montgomery County for a special All Star game and series of skills contests to provide young athletes the chance to promote themselves.

The Montco All Star Weekend will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at George Washington Carver Community Center in Norristown.

Organizers have invited 30 of the area's top prep players, including thousand point scorers, college commits, and all-area athletes from the past season.

Our goal is to highlight our area's talent through our platform, create NIL (name, image, and likeness) opportunities for players, and introduce them to businesses for summer jobs," organizer Daniel Coverdale, owner of Iso Training, told Patch.

College coaches from around the region will attend the event.

In addition to an all star game, the event will also feature a three point contest and a dunk contest.

"With these elements in place, we aim to create a positive event for our local student athletes to represent their programs and themselves," Coverdale added. "For many of our players, this is their junior or senior year."

An awards ceremony will follow the conclusion of the second all star game. Invited players are listed below and should contact Coverdale directly at Isonic.pro on Instagram.
