Amid Eagles Fever, Elmwood Zoo Promotes 'Adopt An Eagle'

NORRISTOWN, PA — With the Philadelphia Eagles advancing to the next round of the playoffs in dramatic fashion Sunday, Elmwood Park Zoo is capitalizing on Eagles fever.

They're pitching fans of both the football Eagles and the wild bird eagles regarding their "Adopt an Animal" program.

By virtually adopting an eagle through Elmwood Park, patrons directly support the care and upkeep of the birds and their habitat.

Virtual "zooparents" also receive regular updates on their eagle, including photos, fact sheets, an authentic adoption certificate, and more.

Of course, other animals are available for adoption as well.
