NORRISTOWN, PA — The Pride flag will raised outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown next week in celebration of the beginning of Pride Month.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 2 at 10 a.m.
June 1 is the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, which took place in New York in June 1969 and are widely seen as a catalyst for the LGBTQ movement.
The courthouse is on 2 East Airy Street in Norristown.
