UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Resurfacing work will restrict a road in Valley Forge later this week, potentially leading to additional traffic.
One lane of Route 23 will be closed from Inner Line Drive to Washington Memorial Chapel as milling and paving work gets underway.
The closure will be in place on Wednesday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It's part of a wider effort by PennDOT to repair and resurface some 240 miles of state highways around the region this week.
Drivers should plan for delays and consider alternate routes.
