Heavy rain swept through the Philadelphia region over the weekend and into Monday, leading to flooding in some areas and large areas of standing water that made travel difficult or impossible.
Montgomery County avoided the worst of the flooding, through warnings were declared through much of the day as rain continued to impact the region, particularly urban areas.
More than two inches fell in several communities around the county, with Willow Grove topping the list at 2.65 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
The Schuylkill River and Perkiomen Creek did not reach flood stage.
