NORRISTOWN, PA — The days-long shutdown due to the water main break in Norristown is finally over.
DeKalb Street was fully reopened to traffic Thursday morning at about 10:30 a.m.
It comes a day after Pennsylvania American Water restored water service to 94 homes and hundreds of customers on Wednesday afternoon.
The break occurred early Tuesday at the intersection of DeKalb Street and Jacoby Street.
Many residents received bottled water or filled up on drinkable water at a station provided by officials down the road.
