KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A new Raising Cane's Chicken restaurant will open up in King of Prussia in the near future, according to officials and media sources.
The Philadelphia Business Journal first reported the opening of the eatery in the location of the former Hobby Lobby, at 320 W. DeKalb Pike.
It's not yet clear exactly when the chicken eatery will be open.
Hobby Lobby will officially close on Aug. 22. The announcement late last month led to swirling rumors over the future of the real estate.
There are 14 Raising Canes locations in Pennsylvania, including nearby spots in North Wales and Willow Grove.
Raising Cane's specializes in chicken fingers and is also known for its crinkle-cut fries and Texas toast meals.
The company was founded in 1996 in Louisiana, and has since spread to more than 600 locations nationwide.
