The best high schools have been ranked in Montgomery County and across Pennsylvania by U.S. News in their latest 2026-2027 Best High Schools list.

Once again, the county was among the best performing in Pennsylvania, accounting for 12 of the top 100 schools in the entire state.

These Are The Best Public High Schools In PA For 2026-27: U.S. News

The rankings use data from the 2023-2024 school year and were produced with research firm RTI International.

Specifically, they look at six key indicators to develop their scores: college readiness, college curriculum breadth, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rate.
