KOP Woman Sentenced To Up To 10 Years In Prison For Fake Medicaid Claims: State

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The owner of a Montgomery County home healthcare company has been sentenced to prison for creating fake Medicare claims, the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals Office said.

Stephanie Mobley, 54, of King of Prussia, will spend between 17 months and 10 years in prison.

Mobley was the "overseer" of the $1.76 million scheme, creating fake paperwork and assigning fake caregivers to clients in order to receive Medicare funds for individuals and circumstances that did not exist, officials said.

Mobley, the owner of a business called ComfortZone Home Health Care, even recruited some of her clients to help her make the fake claims, the Attorney General's Office said.

Mobley's daughter, 30-year-old Naya Campbell of Audubon, served as ComfortZone's CEO. She was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in prison back in March for her role in the fraud.

A total of 18 people pled guilty to charges related to the case.

"The defendant made these criminal acts a part of her routine business practices, while also employing others to steal from a program intended to provide critical care to vulnerable Pennsylvanians," Attorney General Dave Sunday said in a statement.

The sentencing brings to a conclusion a two year investigation.
