Prosecutors said the victim showed bravery throughout the case, while the judge accepted a plea agreement that also requires lifetime registration under Pennsylvania's sexual offender laws. Several additional charges were dismissed as part of the deal.

King of Prussia woman gets prison in $1.7 million Medicaid fraud scheme (timesherald.com) β From a Norristown courtroom, a King of Prussia woman received 17 months to 10 years in state prison for helping run a $1.7 million Medicaid fraud scheme tied to an East Norriton home care agency. Authorities say she and 19 others submitted false claims for services never provided, and she now shares responsibility for more than $1.7 million in restitution. Several co-defendants, including her daughter, have already been sentenced.
