NORRISTOWN, PA — The group behind the massive "No Kings" nationwide protests against President Trump is putting together an event this month in Norristown.
The Oct. 17 event is billed as a non-partisan rally to raise awareness of registering to vote ahead of the midterm elections.
"Since it's pretty much guaranteed that the regime will be stoking chaos and confusion before, on, and after November 3rd, we'll also share options to peacefully help protect our right to vote, safeguard our votes and ensure the result is respected," organizers shared.
The rally will include information on how to register to vote, satellite voter services offices, ballot drop boxes, and more.
Similar "Vote Early" events are planned by No Kings around the country.
It will be held at One Montgomery Plaza on 425 Swede Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 17.
