Armed Robbers Tracked From KOP To Royersford Before Capture: Police
Authorities tracked and ultimately arrested a man and a woman who they said tied up a business owner during a recent robbery.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A pair of armed robbers were tracked across Montgomery County from King of Prussia to Royersford before being captured, police said.
The robbers, a man and a woman, tied a victim up at a business in northeast Philadelphia on May 5 before stealing items, authorities said.
On May 9, Upper Merion police were able to track the two suspects to the 400 block of Bluebluff Road in King of Prussia. SWAT teams helped to conduct a search warrant at the home, but the accused robbers were not there.

However, after searching inside the home, detectives found evidence connecting the pair to a different residence in Royersford. Upper Merion Police were joined by Upper Providence Police and multiple SWAT teams in descending on that home, where they found both suspects.
The man tried to run away but was captured "after a brief foot pursuit," police said. The woman was taken into custody without incident.

Police did not immediatley provide the identities of the suspects.
Both accused robbers were transported to Philadelphia where they were booked and where they. now await preliminary hearings.
