Audubon Bird Town Bird Walks at Lorimer Park on May 17th and May 22nd at 8:00 am are sponsored by the Wyncote Audubon Society
Early morning bird walks on May 17th and May 22nd will occur either in Lorimer Park, or along the Pennypack Trail. Bring binoculars.
On May 17th meet at the Welsh Road/Pennypack Trail parking lot for the regular third Tuesday of the month morning bird walk. We will be searching for spring migrants and resident birds. Explore areas along the trail including the Bethayres Swamp, an official IBA (Important Bird Area). Leaders are from the Wyncote Audubon Society. Both new birders and those with considerable experience are welcome to attend. You will not be disappointed. Bring binoculars if you have them. Ages: adults and children 12 and up. Free program.
