Beloved Norristown Man, 'Dear Friend To All', Passes At 59

The lively Norristown man is remembered for his love of dancing, country music, wrestling, rugby, and bowling.

NORRISTOWN, PA --Sebastian "Busty" Messino, 59, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Friday March 3, 2017 at the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 24, 1957 in Norristown, Sebastian was the son of the late Sebastian Sr. & Loretta (DiMarcello) Messino.

After graduating High School, Sebastian went on to work for the DEC (Developmental Enterprise Corp.) in Norristown, and worked there for over 20 years. Sebastian had a deep love for dancing and music and especially country music and even got to meet the lead singer of Alabama which was a highlight of his life.

In his spare time he also enjoyed watching wrestling, and rugby. But Sebastian's deepest passion was for bowling; he loved to bowl and tried to do so whenever he had the opportunity. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, great-great uncle, and dear friend to all and he will be missed by many.

Sebastian is survived by his sisters; Loretta Marie (Ken) Beatty, and Geraldine Messino; two nephews, Gene, and Joseph (Christine); one niece, Angela (Jay); one great niece, Amber (Will); three great nephews, R.J. (Jessica), Thomas, and Kyle; two great-great nieces, Wednesday, and Veil; and two loving uncles, Dan (Mary) DiMarcella, and Ed Sr. (Maryann).

In addition to his parents, Sebastian was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Anne.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday March 11, 2017, from 10-10:45am at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown PA. 19401. Memorial Mass will follow the calling time at 11:00am at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Augustine's Cemetery, King of Prussia PA.
