Big Daddy Graham, Longtime WIP Sports Radio Host, Dies
The WIP overnight sports talk radio host for years, Big Daddy Graham was mourned as a Philadelphia legend.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — Big Daddy Graham, the longtime WIP sports talk radio overnight host who was hailed as a "Philadelphia legend" by athletes and media figures alike, died on Wednesday. He was 68.
An avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, Graham's voice was a mainstay on the 2 a.m. airwaves around the Delaware Valley for nearly 20 years. He was known for his passion, but also his comedy; he was also a writer, comedian, and actor throughout his career.
"A gem of a man," shared fellow WIP host Glen Macnow. "A diamond in the rough. A funny, hard-working and quirky sweetheart of a guy with no filter. My pal, my co-author. We will all miss him."
