Bitter Cold, Then More Chances For Snow In Southeastern PA
After Monday's storm, this week will bring multiple more chances for snow in the greater Philadelphia area. Latest forecast:
EASTERN PA — After Monday saw snow fall in some parts of the greater Philadelphia area, there will be multiple further chances for snow in the region this week. That's after freezing temperatures swing through for much of Tuesday and Tuesday evening, with highs in the mid-30s and wind chills dropping below 20.
The next chance for precipitation will come on Wednesday, right when things are heating up a little bit. There's a chance of rain in the morning hours, and no more than a tenth of an inch of precipitation currently forecasted, the National Weather Service says.
Things will cool down Thursday night as another front comes through, with a chance for rain and then snow before 1 a.m., forecasters said. Up to half an inch is possible in the Philadelphia area. More snow could fall the day following, likely before 1 p.m. Friday, according to forecasters.

The storm dumped over a foot of snow along some parts of the South Jersey shore and Delaware, with more significant accumulation of 2 to 4 inches just on the other side of the Delaware River. Philadelphia received just about an inch of snow, the National Weather Service said, while some parts of the suburbs received just a dusting.
