Box Full Of Cash Found On Montco Road, Returned To Owner

"What would you do if you found a box full of cash?" police asked. For one local Good Samaritan, the answer was easy.

WEST NORRITON, PA — A Montgomery County man and Good Samaritan drew the accolades of local officials and police after going out of his way to return a box of money to its rightful owner.

West Norriton resident David Cline discovered the box full of cash on the side of the road recently and immediately brought it down the police station.

Officers were then able to identify the owner of the money thanks to several documents inside, which were also valuable to the owner.

They did not say how the box found its way to the road.

Police said the owner was "so grateful" to Cline and that it made his day.
