Bridgeport Man Raped, Beat 5 Children: DA

NORRISTOWN, PA — A Bridgeport man was arrested recently for raping, beating, and abusing several children, as well abusing his girlfriend, authorities announced Tuesday.

Todd Anthony Wilson, 32, of East Fourth Street, faces dozens of felony sex crime charges, including rape, sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, incest, aggravated assault, and more.

Authorities said that Wilson sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl, the daughter of his girlfriend, that was in his care. The girl was brought to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by her mother when she discovered fresh injuries, and doctors found "significant vaginal trauma," according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

Wilson also sexually abused their 12-year-old daughter, while forcing his girlfriend's three sons, aged six, eight, and nine, to perform sex acts on each other, according to authorities.

Authorities added that Wilson has also beat his girlfriend on numerous occasions, hitting her in the face and choking her.

Wilson was arraigned on May 17 and taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Bail was set at $1 million.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 22.
