How did you come up with the name?

"The name Bella Capelli means beautiful hair in Italian, my partner is Italian."

Why did you decide to start a business here?

"We actually were working for somebody in King Of Prussia, and we needed to stay close for our existing clients, but wanted to be away from the traffic. Plus, one of our girls grew up in Bridgeport, and there are a lot of plans to build it up, with new homes, apartments, etc.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

"I would say the most difficult challenge so far is just getting our name out there, and drawing new business."

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

"Our proudest achievement since opening is that we were able to take our coworkers, out of a toxic environment, and give them a clean, bright and happy place to work, where we feel like we are family. Plus, we just celebrate a year of being open!"

How does your business give back to the community?

"As far as giving back to the community, I am currently on the board for East Norriton Little League, so I am very active in the surrounding communities. My position is fundraising. And I’ve learned that I have a love for giving back! If you take a look at our Facebook page, you will see that we are
constantly running some type of fundraiser for these kids. And the latest: the salon donated $600 in plants and materials, and partnered with J. Wilson Landscaping who donated their time, to spruce up nearby a busy intersection."
