Suburban Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, acute care hospital, and a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. For over 75 years, Suburban Community Hospital has been delivering quality healthcare to Montgomery County and the surrounding region. Located in East Norriton, Pennsylvania, the hospital was built in 1944 and originally named Riverview Hospital.

Suburban Community Hospital is an award-winning acute care hospital providing high-quality, compassionate care in a warm and welcoming environment. Operated by Prime Healthcare, the 126-bed acute care teaching hospital is Certified by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and has won multiple awards through Healthgrades. As part of its award-winning stroke services, the hospital recently was awarded and accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians for a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation (GEDA).

Today, the hospital has more than 375 physicians on staff, as well as another 475 employees. As part of Prime Healthcare Services, headquartered in Ontario, California, Suburban Community Hospital is focused on becoming one of the leaders in technology. Combining state-of-the-art technology, the latest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and a network of highly qualified physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, the hospital provides top-quality health care services delivered with compassionate care.
