Some wintry weather could be on the way. Here's what to expect.
SOUTHEASTERN PA — There's a chance that some wintry weather could hit the greater Philadelphia area on Tuesday, as a recently released forecast from the National Weather Service calls for possible snow showers in the morning through mid-afternoon.
A storm front could linger until around 3 p.m., potentially bringing with it either rain or snow depending on how chilly it gets in certain areas. Forecasters give the likelihood of precipitation at about 20 percent.
Some areas already saw some snow fall in the early morning hours, including in the city. AccuWeather says that it will not remain cold enough for any significant accumulation. Temperatures will hover in the upper 30s and low 40s, with a high of 45.
