PHILADELPHIA, PA — The city's humming, the drama's looming, the box office's exploding. The underdog Phillies are approaching the brink of what was deemed impossible and find themselves two wins away from the third World Series championship in franchise history. And becoming a part of what appears to be the loudest in-game crowd in baseball history is getting harder and harder.

After an explosive Game 3 victory on Tuesday night backed by five home runs, the Phillies head into Game 4 on Wednesday leading the World Series, 2-1.

The cheapest ticket price to the game at Citizens Bank Park on Gametime.co as of Wednesday afternoon was $1,489, even pricier than Tuesday night.

Stubhub, meanwhile, has one available at $1,215. There are a few below $1,400, but the vast majority are going for much more.

The highest on Gametime.co is $8,546, the price for a seat in the stadium's Hall of Fame club.

First pitch Wednesday night is 8:03 p.m. The Phillies will hand the ball to their ace and their longest tenured player, Aaron Nola. Nola struggled in Game 1 in Houston but is one of the game's most consistent arms in the past five-plus years. He'll face off against Houston's Cristian Javier.
