Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Food to Local Nonprofit

Students held a food drive to support Philabundance

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Audubon recently donated more than 100 pounds of nonperishable food items to Philabundance, a local nonprofit. Throughout December, students hosted a food drive to help stock the organization’s shelves and provide meals to families in need. At the end of the drive, students organized and prepared the donation for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back, especially during the holiday season.

Philabundance is the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, seeking to drive hunger from the community today and end hunger forever. Philabundance serves more than 90,000 people each week by distributing more than 26 million pounds of food through a network of 350 member agencies, and partnerships with hospitals, schools, libraries and other service providers.
