Child Rescued After Hanging From Neck At KOP Amusement Park
Police said the child became entangled in a rope ladder.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A young child was rescued from a King of Prussia amusement park over the weekend after becoming entangled in a rope ladder and hanging from his neck, according to police and media reports.
The incident occurred at the brand new Thrillz Adventure Park, which just opened on South Henderson Road last week, at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The 8-year-old child was climbing "headfirst" down a rope ladder, NBC 10 reports, when it caught around his neck.

Thrillz said in a statement that they put together a response team, which included a off-duty police officers and a nurse, "within 10 seconds."
The child was speaking by the time first responders arrived, Fox29 reports.

He was transported to Paoli Hospital for further treatment and is recovering, police said.
The amusement park remained open Saturday after the incident.
