'Code Blue' Cold Weather Warning Issued In Montgomery County
The first Code Blue of the season has been issued in Montgomery County.
NORRISTOWN, PA — As they do whenever dangerously cold weather strikes, the Montgomery County Commissioners have declared a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency. It's the first code blue of the season.
The declaration went into effect at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12 and will end at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14.
Temperatures will plummet into the 20s over the next several nights around the region, causing potentially dangerous situations.

If you or someone you know needs shelter during the storm and cold, you have multiple options.
Families in need of shelter should go to the Salvation Army in Norristown (610-275-4183), or the Your Way Home Call Center at 2-1-1 (or text your zip code to 898-211).
