Code Blue Declared For Entire Weekend In Montgomery County

Temperatures will plummet rapidly this weekend as the storm front moves out.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A code blue cold weather warning has been issued in Montgomery County as a dangerous cold front moves into the area following the rain storm.

The deep freeze will arrive later Friday and could bring wind chills below 20 degrees. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 20s in much of the region.

The code blue will be in place throughout the weekend, from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Monday. It helps the county and the Department of Public Safety marshal additional resources needed to protect the public, especially vulnerable residents.
