'Code Blue' Declared In Montco As March Freeze Moves In

Check on your neighbors: wind chills could plummet into the teens or below Wednesday night into early Thursday, officials warn.

NORRISTOWN, PA — As a period of frigid weather moves into the region in early March, a "code blue" cold weather emergency has been declared in Montgomery County, officials announced.

The code blue is in place through Thursday, March 9 at 9 a.m.

Temperatures will plummet into the low 20s on Wednesday night, and winds ranging from 15 to 20 miles per hour could make the wind chill fall well below 20 degrees.
