Concrete Truck In East Norriton Hits Live Wire, Traps Driver: Report

The wire reportedly smacked down on top of the truck, trapping the driver inside.

A concrete truck hit a live electrical wire on Markle Road in East Norriton on Monday, according to a Times Herald report.

The truck severed the line when it struck it, sending it crashing back down onto the vehicle and trapping the driver, the report states.

The driver had to wait until the line was de-energized before he could get out, the report states.

The line was hanging low across the roadway on the 3100 block of Markle, according to the report.

No one was injured.
