Conshohocken Restaurant Honored By AAA As Best In Region

AAA Mid-Atlantic is presenting their 2016 AAA Five and Four Diamond Awards to 16 Diamond establishments around the Philadelphia area.

The AAA Five and Four Diamond Awards are the most coveted symbols of excellence for lodgings and restaurants, AAA said.

Montgomery County is represented by one restaurant: Savona, located on 100 Old Gulph Road in West Conshohocken.

Savona is described on their website as an "elegant marble bar, wine lounge & outdoor patio for wining & dining on farm-to-table Italian fare."

Some of the top chefs and hotel managers in the region will be on hand t an upcoming ceremony to receive the awards.

Julie Coker Graham,President and CEO of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, will be the guest speaker at the event on Friday, May 6.

The ceremony will run from 10 a.m. to noon at the Rittenhouse Hotel on 210 West Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

• The Franklin Hotel at Independence Park (Four Diamond - 25 year recipient)

• The Westin Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 16 year recipient)
• The Hilton Inn at Penn (Four Diamond - 15 year recipient)
• Sofitel Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 15 year recipient)
• Moshulu (Four Diamond – 12 year recipient)
• XIX (Nineteen) Restaurant (Four Diamond - 10 year recipient)
