Officials are taking precautions after a young, unvaccinated child tested positive for the disease.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Contact tracing remains underway in Montgomery County after a young, unvaccinated child tested positive for measles last week.
Thus far, it remains unclear how many other individuals that child may have come into contact with. It's also unknown if any of them were also unvaccinated.
The child visited several local grocery stores and health centers during their "infectious period," officials said. A full list of those locations is included below.

Symptoms of measles include cold-like symptoms, runny nose, red eyes, greyish-white spots in the mouth, fever, and more. It's transmitted most commonly through coughing and sneezing.
Measles can remain infectious in the air and on surfaces for up to two hours after an infected individual leaves that area.
