'Convoy Of Hope' Brings Norristown A Message Of Service
The traveling convoy offered residents free family portraits, dental screenings, haircuts, and much, much more.

The Convoy of Hope hit Norristown on Saturday, September 19, bringing with a brigade of individuals hoping to serve the community.
The traveling convoy - which goes around the country to serve communities everywhere - was offering a wide variety of free services at Eisenhower Middle School.
“We serve guests of honor–in dozens of communities throughout the world–by providing them with free groceries, health and dental screenings, haircuts, family portraits, meals and much more at our signature events,” the event said on its website.

Prior to the event, a volunteer rally was held on Friday to gear up those assisting the Convoy.
Founded in 1994 and sponsored by both local and national organizations, the Convoy has served over 70 million individuals since its inception.
