Dealer Supplying ‘Highly Sophisticated’ Meth To Montco Sentenced To Prison
The secret supplier of high quality meth to southeastern Pennsylvania will spend years behind bars.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The man who police said was the supplier for a massive, deeply complex crystal methamphetamine ring was sentenced to prison in Montgomery County court this week.
Ricky Evans, 28, of Los Angeles will spend the next 8.5 to 17 years behind bars, according to court documents.
Some $3.7 million in high quality meth was seized at the time of Evans’ arrest.

Evans was among five men arrested in Montgomery County in April 2022 when the ring was originally busted.
Investigators said the drug was shipped from Los Angeles to drug leaders in the Philadelphia region.

Tyrone Baker, 30, of East Lansdowne, Jhamir Winans, 22, of Philadelphia, Shakeen Johnson, 28, of Exton, and Joshua Quiles, 32, of King of Prussia were all arrested alongside Evans and face varying drug charges.
Evans shipped large quantities of meth to those four through the U.S. Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx, officials said.
All told, 83 pounds of meth, along with 200 baggies of fentanyl, oxycodone, and marijuana were seized. Police also seized 17 handguns, eight long-gun rifles, a ballistic vest, and $135,000.
