Driver Who Hit Pole, Knocking Out Power In E Norriton, Fled Scene

EAST NORRITON, PA — Many residents were without power after a vehicle took down an electrical pole in East Norriton last week.

Now, police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver who fled the scene following the crash.

The incident occurred at 2:20 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 on Potshop Road and Schultz Road.

The striking vehicle broke the pole off at its base, sending wires crashing down across Potshop Road, police said.

Officers investigating the crash have not been able to find the vehicle, police said on Monday.

Authorities said it caused power outages and other electrical issues around the area.
