PHILADELPHIA, PA — An Eagles fan snuck into the press conference following the Eagles game Sunday, and even managed to ask Eagles head coach Doug Pederson a question.

"You think Eli next weekend? What do you think?" the man slurred. Pederson stared in disbelief for a few moments before asking someone else if the man was credentialed.

"Holy cow," Pederson said as the man was being escorted from the room. "This'll be on Sports Center."

The question itself was not entirely implausible. The Eagles do face the New York Giants in the final game of the season next week, and as it may well be two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning's final NFL game, questions are swirling around whether or not he will start. Especially after his heir apparent, Daniel Jones, fired five touchdown passes in a victory over the Redskins Sunday.

The mood was light and jovial, however, and Pederson was all smiles after the Birds took down the Cowboys, 17-9.

Things continue next week in the Meadowlands at 1 p.m. when the Giants host the Birds.
