Drunk Valley Forge Casino Guests Resist Arrest, Try To Escape: Cops
A "heavily intoxicated" man tried to escape arrest, and the drunk woman with him tried to interfere, police said.

UPPER MERION, PA — Police were busy at Valley Forge Casino last weekend as a pair of "heavily intoxicated" guests were arrested.
Police were called to the scene at 120 First Avenue at around 2 a.m. on June 11.
Casino security had tried to kick the guests out, but the pair, a man and a woman, refused, police said.

When police arrived, they said they found the man "unsteady on his feet" and argumentative with officers.
When officers tried to arrest him for public drunkenness, he resisted and tried to escape, police said.

That's when the woman, also very drunk, inerjected and tried to stop the arrest, according to authorities.
Both were arrested and taken to Upper Merion Police Station. They were charged with resisting arrest, public drunkenness, and related counts.
