Eagles 2024 NFL Schedule Released: See Best Matchups, Opponents
The Birds, without Jason Kelce but with Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, and a core that has flashed dominance, know what 2024 will look like.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Eagles fans got their first in-depth glimpse of what the 2024-25 season will look like on Wednesday night when the remainder of the schedule was released by the NFL.
After opening the season in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers, the Birds will play Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons at home in Week 2 on national television. In Week 9, they play Sunday Night Football in Jacksonville against the Jaguars, and Thursday Night Football against the Washington Commanders on Week 11.
Also notable: their bye is early in the season, during Week 5.

The schedule comes as the Birds recently discovered they'll be without franchise legend Jason Kelce next year, as the Super Bowl champ announced his retirement just weeks ago. The Eagles have bolstered their roster significantly, however, with major free agent signings of star running back Saquon Barkley and defensive end Bryce Huff.

Expectations will remain sky high for an Eagles team that still has most of the backbone of the team that launched out to a dominating start last year, becoming early Super Bowl favorites before a monumental collapse to end the season and a first round exit in the playoffs.
It had previously been announced that the Birds would open their season down in São Paulo, Brazil against the Packers. That game will take place on Friday, Sept. 6 at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, primarily a soccer stadium which was at the center of the world stage when it hosted the 2014 World Cup.
Not once in the last 50 years has the NFL kicked its season off on a Friday, so the announcement marks yet another marketing twist from a league that has been positively antsy to reinvent itself over the past several years.
