East Norriton Among Best Places To Live In America, Money Magazine Says

EAST NORRITON, PA — Several Pennsylvania towns have been named among the best places to live in the United States, including East Norriton.

Money Magazine lands East Norriton at number 83 on its list of the top 100 places to live in the nation.

The magazine cited several statistics to back up East Norriton's ranking, including projected job growth (4.5 percent), clear days per year (205), high school graduation rate (79 percent), average commute time (24 minutes), median household income ($81,957), and median home price ($277,833).

The editors noted that choosing where to live is an important decision, "one that influences your life in every way." The publication gathered 170,000 data points from about 2,400 places.

Money eliminated any place that had more than double the national crime risk, less than 85 percent of its state’s median household income or a lack of ethnic diversity. "This gave us 2,400 places," the magazine said.
