Egypt Road Giant Now Serving Beer And Wine

NORRISTOWN, PA — The Giant supermarket in Norristown has officially opened its Beer and Wine Eatery.

The store located at 2670 Egypt Road celebrated with a grand opening on Friday, Dec. 21.

The announcement comes just a month after Giant opened a beer and wine store at its second West Chester location, as well as its Hatfield and Royersford locations. The Norristown store marks the 77cth Giant in Pennsylvania to sell beer and wine.

Giant said that the store includes hundreds of beers, both craft and imported along with domestic, as well as a large wine selection and a "mix a six" option for customers to create their own six pack.

"A big thanks to all of our associates who have brought our new Beer & Wine Eatery to life just in time for the holiday season," Andre Rollins, store manager, said in a statement.

The eatery, which seats 30, features sandwiches, wraps, subs, and salads and is open for both eat-in and take-out. You can purchase beer, wine, and food here from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
