WEST NORRITON, PA — An elderly woman was kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint at Marshalls in West Norriton just after noon one day earlier this month, police announced Thursday.
A pair of suspects, described as "very organized" by police, threatened the woman's family, and provided detailed, accurate information about her husband and children during the incident, according to police.
The incident occurred on July 11 at around 1 p.m. at the Marshalls located on 540 S. Trooper Road.

The two suspects — both women (detailed descriptions below) — approached the 76-year-old victim, and displayed a semi-automatic firearm inside her purse, police said.
They then warned the victim not to scream, or they would kill her family.

Next, the victim was led out of Marshall's, and then went to the victim's car, where they sat for around an hour, according to authorities. During that time, the suspects discussed the woman's finances and bank accounts, and wanted to know if she could make withdrawals up to $6,000.
One of the suspects left at this point, and the other suspect, pressing the gun into the victim's ribs, had her drive them down to the Wells Fargo Bank on Egypt Road, in Lower Providence.
The suspect waited outside of the bank on foot as the victim withdrew $1,500. They then drove back to the Home Depot in West Norriton, and stole all the money, jewelry, and cash in her purse.
During conversations, the suspects disclosed even deeper knowledge of the victim's family, including the location of several other family members and their children. During the incident, they threatened to kill them all if the victim called police or did not return from the bank.
The first suspect is described as a woman with light to medium black skin, aged between 40 and 50, standing about 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 6 inches talls, and weighing about 140 pounds. She was "well spoken," and had black hair with yellow and pink braids across her forehead.
The second suspect had a medium black complexion, was thin, between 30 and 40 years of age, standing around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, of thin build. She had long, black braided hair.
Video stills of the suspects pictured above were obtained from Marshall's security footage.
