Elmwood Park Zoo Adds New Zebra

NORRISTOWN, PA — A new animal is making his home at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown.

Zach the Hartmann's mountain zebra has just arrived, and will be out in his exhibit Monday with resident female zebra Hannah.

The zebras share a space with the giraffes, who are not out on exhibit Monday to allow the pair to become accustomed to the space, the zoo said.

Giraffe feedings have been cancelled for Monday, Oct. 29.
