Elmwood Park Zoo Launches 'Bison Feeding Experience'
Elmwood will become the only accredited zoo in the nation to offer bison feeding.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Next time you visit Norristown's Elmwood Park Zoo, giraffes won't be the only animal you can feed.
The zoo has announced the launch of their new "Bison Feeding Experience." They become the first AZA accredited zoo in the United States to offer this kind of exhibit.
Funds provided by Xfinity are also supporting The Bison Express, a train caboose located just outside the bison exhibit that traces the natural and environmental history of the bison, the national mammal of the United States.
