Elmwood Zoo Announces 'Drive Thru And Brew' Safari
In this new and improved event, cars can drive through the actual zoo, and will receive custom craft beer brewed for the zoo at the end.
NORRISTOWN, PA — The Elmwood Park Zoo has announced a new and improved socially distanced zoo experience that allows vehicles to drive through the actual zoo.
At the end of the ride, participants can pick up a custom four-back of craft beer brewed specially for Elmwood, Workhorse Brewing Company's LagerGator.
The "Drive Thru and Brew" Safari will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.

The tour will include a corresponding audio that is available via mobile device which will discuss the many animals and exhibits which vehicles will pass.
Tickets are $65, and go on sale for yearly members on Aug. 17, and for the general public on Aug. 19. Only sedans and compact SUV's are allowed due to the safari's path.

In addition to the beer, guests will received a gift bag which includes a Workhorse pint glass and koozie, a Make it Montco bottle opener, a reusable Wegmans shopping bag, and more.
