Elmwood Zoo To Host First Ever Pride Celebration Event

Organizers say the celebration, featuring a waterslide, special drinks, rainbow hand-painting, and more, will become an annual event.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Elmwood Park Zoo will hold its first ever pride celebration event this month in recognition of Pride Month.

The event will become an annual fixture on the zoo's calendar, organizers said.

It will be held on Saturday, June 29 and attendance is free with zoo admission.

Live music, signature drinks, a waterslide, rainbow hand-painting, and more will be included in the big day.

At 2 p.m., zookeepers will hold a special "Animal Family Dynamics" chat.
