Elmwood Zoo To Host Wine Safari
Sip from a variety of local wineries and feed the giraffes while strolling the grounds after hours.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown will hold a special after hours "Wine Safari" event this week, allowing visitors to stroll the grounds with a beverage while enjoying special features.
The event will take place on Friday, Aug. 2 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Numerous local wineries will offer drinks by the glass and the bottle, and there will be food available to purchase from Tosco's.

Various animal meet and greets and special talks with zookeepers and animal health experts highlight the event. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests can also join the giraffe feeding for an additional fee.
