Elmwood Zoo Launches 'Giraffeathon' Live Feeding, Fundraiser
As the coronavirus outbreak wears on, Elmwood Park Zoo is working to keep residents connected to the animals.
NORRISTOWN, PA — As the coronavirus outbreak goes on, Elmwood Park Zoo continues to search for creative ways to deliver zoo programming to the general public.
The latest is "Giraffeathon," an interactive fundraiser that will include live giraffe feedings, with the donations turning into snacks for the giraffes mid-broadcast.

The feature will launch on Friday, April 3 at 2 p.m. It will be available online here.
Zoo educators, keepers, and vet staff will partake in the stream, providing viewers with giraffe facts, showing off some training techniques, and more.
