Ethical Clothing Retailer Everlane Opens At King Of Prussia Mall

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A new retailer is celebrating its grand opening at King of Prussia Mall this weekend with treats from Philadelphia-area retailers.

Everlane is an ethically- and sustainability-minded clothing brand that also focuses on "creating great in-store customer experiences, (and) putting service above all else through physical and technological efficiencies alongside education."

The store is located on Level 1 of the mall, by Nordstrom and Pottery Barn. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Right now, Everlane is stocked with fall essentials for men and women, including denim, footwear, and sweaters.

Weckerly’s Ice Cream, Pour Richard’s Coffee Co., Down North Pizza, and Center City Pretzel will be offering treats opening weekend, Everlane said.

"Everlane is also committed to sustainability across all aspects of the business, including its retail stores, and sustainability is an essential part of ambassador training, in-store practices, and store design," the store said in a news release. "All stores are beautifully constructed using natural materials, including FSC certified and locally harvested wood, biodegradable and natural textiles, 100% recycled flooring, reclaimed glass, energy-efficient LED lighting, and recycled signage."

Everlane's King of Prussia Mall location has partnered with the Rodale Institute, which is headquartered in Pennsylvania, "to serve as a catalyst for change in regenerative organic farming and food production worldwide."

This is the brand's 10th retail location nationally, a news release said.

Everlane has several in-store features bridging the gap between physical and digital shopping, including:

• Save My Spot (Everlane SMS) - Everlane will hold products and save customers’ places in the fitting room line, then text when the room is ready.
• Available In-Store Check - Customers can check online before heading to the store to see if a style is available in-store.
