Bark! Bark! Bark for Our Park!

Celebrate the relationship between people, parks, and puppies.  Meet Johnny Angel, the canine co-author and conservation hero of the award-winning children's picture book, Bark! Bark! Bark for My Park!  This true story about Norristown Farm Park is dramatically illustrated with photos from the park and surrounding areas.  Both human and canine authors will be on hand (and paw) to sign copies and answer questions.  There will be food, fun, and prizes.  At 9:30 a.m. there will be a one mile Kids Fun Run with awards and at 10:00 a.m. there will be a one mile Dog Walk and Papillon Parade.  Kids crafts are at 10:30 a.m.  Book signing is from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  A raffle drawing will be held at 12:30 p.m.  Other activities for kids include balloon animals, face painting, and a scavenger hunt.  Food and other vendors, dog rescue groups, pet micro-chipping, and book sales will complete the day.  The event is hosted by the Farm Park Preservation Association and Montgomery County Parks and Heritage Services.
