Choo Choo to Chinatown

Join us for a fabulous new adventure!  We will take the 10:54 train from Norristown Main Street station to Market East train station in Philadelphia. It is about a 2-block walk from the station to the Friendship gate welcoming us to Chinatown.  We will walk about and peruse the shops and stop at a restaurant there for lunch.  We will take the 2:30 train back to arrive at Norristown Main St station at 3:09 p.m.  Train fares are $1.00 each way for those 65 or older with a valid PA Senior Citizen Transit ID card or Medicare Card issued by the Social Security Administration. Fares can be found on www.septa.org. For those who wish it, Transnet can provide late pick up 3:30- 4 p.m. that day to get you home.  Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes.  Rain date: May 29^th.
